Montechiarugolo AFC's Pär Are played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Prata in the 23rd minute of play. In the 41st minute Anfilogino Preda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Preda in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 69th minute, Alex Mori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montechiarugolo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Mori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Borges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Pär Are when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Henrique Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmanuel Canturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Quattrocchi in the 86th minute of the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Montechiarugolo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdemar da Cunha took the corner. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar da Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pär Are in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 96 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Preda came free, but Emmanuel Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
