In the 14th minute Pierrot Leenpoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's Pierrot Leenpoels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Glanselius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Sao Brasola were awarded a corner. Elia Di Vincenzo went to the cornerflag to take it. Pierrot Leenpoels took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Glanselius. Aaron Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Daniel Capone came free, but Aaron Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Sao Brasola's Pierrot Leenpoels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Glanselius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Möllgren to make the kick off. Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierrot Leenpoels, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Möllgren came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Deng Jian Bing threw the ball into play from the sideline. When the match was over Sao Brasola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SSC Ambrosini throughout the match.
