The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riho Seitse in the 7th minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper James Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 孟洋青 fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JULM C.F.'s protests and gave 孟洋青 a yellow card for diving instead. 孟洋青 kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, JULM C.F.'s Ben Kiesel got a free kick in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Los Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ma Tian came free, but James Barnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, JULM C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Kiesel to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes JULM C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Helari Heinaru. Los Piratas FC's 俞广扬 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for JULM C.F.. After a rather tough play, Los Piratas FC's Alto Porro got a free kick in the 28th minute. Los Piratas FC's James Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Lejalde in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Riho Seitse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Barnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ma Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. James Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Tian in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Los Piratas FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Claudio Itzaina hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Los Piratas FC's Oscar Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Brodel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 59 minutes of play, JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Barnes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Piratas FC's James Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riho Seitse in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Los Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Tatoulis to maneuver through the defense. Candido Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Tian in the 81st minute of play forced Los Piratas FC's goalkeeper James Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Los Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Itzaina. The supporters of Los Piratas FC booed when JULM C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孟洋青 didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The JULM C.F. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
