Silverio Lluterio took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saruhan Vuralhan. Saruhan Vuralhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ramiro Gabrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Michelangelo Merganiotis could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Ramiro Gabrio however easily saved by the left post. Gonzalo Soin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Saruhan Vuralhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Candela FC. AFC Ajax's Saruhan Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Soin in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match La Candela FC got a corner. AFC Ajax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valtteri Snellman ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hu Han Han got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saruhan Vuralhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Li Kuan Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Kuan Jian made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iason Stoltidis however managed to control. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Ramiro Gabrio got control of the ball when Michelangelo Merganiotis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saruhan Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Yang Xing in the 19th minute of the match. Silverio Lluterio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saruhan Vuralhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ramiro Gabrio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Michelangelo Merganiotis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 25 minutes, Giorgos Mavrigiannakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Mavrigiannakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Silverio Lluterio put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Saruhan Vuralhan. The throw-in from Gonzalo Soin in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Ajax's Lambis Zacharatos. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Saruhan Vuralhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

53 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saruhan Vuralhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Lluterio in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saruhan Vuralhan saved AFC Ajax from getting behind. Saruhan Vuralhan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Silverio Lluterio sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Mavrigiannakis came free, but Ramiro Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 72nd minute of play. Saruhan Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Candela FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valtteri Snellman in the 75th minute. Ramiro Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michelangelo Merganiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. AFC Ajax's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Silverio Lluterio scored to the left of an out of position Saruhan Vuralhan, making the score, 0-3. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Aureo Morera replaced Iason Stoltidis. After some careless play in the La Candela FC defense, Alexandros Sardanis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Gabrio. The La Candela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Gabrio should have stopped the shot.

The La Candela FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
