Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Javier Weterio started the match with the kick off. Hamzah Taqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamzah Taqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Weterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Zanin in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kuwait's Meshari Dehrab got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Javier Weterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamzah Taqi skillfully saved the ball. Kolomna Stars's Mark Kondratiev got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamzah Taqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolay Zanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Weterio in the 19th minute of play forced Kuwait's goalkeeper Hamzah Taqi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamzah Taqi having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Kuwait's Habib Al Youha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Behe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamzah Taqi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kolomna Stars's Javier Weterio. But to his dismay, Javier Weterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Kuwait's Eshaq Al Sarraf got a free kick in the 35th minute. Zula Pieknik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamzah Taqi having to interfere. Kuwait's Hamzah Taqi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Zanin in the 39th minute of play. Meshari Dehrab hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Hamzah Taqi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Weterio's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Habib Al Youha charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Habib Al Youha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kuwait's Habib Al Youha got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habib Al Youha to make the kick off. Hamzah Taqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Weterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 65 minutes, Javier Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolomna Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kolomna Stars booed when Kuwait was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eshaq Al Sarraf didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Kuwait's goalkeeper Hamzah Taqi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolay Zanin. In the 71st match minute, Kolomna Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Mudry to maneuver through the defense. After 74th play minutes Javier Weterio shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Hamzah Taqi and just under the crossbar into goal. Hamzah Taqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Weterio in the 78th minute of play. Sergio Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashed Al Shemali in the 80th minute of the match. Hamzah Taqi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zula Pieknik sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute of the match Kolomna Stars got a corner. Kuwait's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Javier Weterio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Kuwait getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Eshaq Al Sarraf hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kolomna Stars's Javier Weterio tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Habib Al Youha kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kuwait's Sror Bo Qamaz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
