A nice corner shot did that Andres Frasco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnoud de Pelsmakere quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 7 played minutes Club Universidad Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Mede. In the 10th minute, Steffen Gimlinge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Universidad Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Frasco in the 13th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Frasco in the 15th minute of the match. Steffen Gimlinge took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisito Sadurni. Luisito Sadurni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Club Universidad Nacional booed when Tequileros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Paublo made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tequileros FC's Filiberto Bittor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Baudelio in the 35th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Steffen Gimlinge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luisito Sadurni, 3-0. In the 47th minute, Inocencio Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Baudelio in the 49th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Steffen Gimlinge made the kick off in the second half. Marios Rouggeris kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Club Universidad Nacional made a substitution. Feliciano Frans replaced Steffen Gimlinge. Tequileros FC's Waclaw Szostak was substituted for Andreas Brehme. After a rather tough play, Club Universidad Nacional's Marios Rouggeris got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Edgard Lécuyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Arnoud de Pelsmakere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Feliciano Frans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Club Universidad Nacional from getting a goal against them. Edgard Lécuyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match, Edgard Magdaleno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Feliciano Frans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisito Sadurni having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Frans came free, but Luisito Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tequileros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Universidad Nacional.
