Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Gimlinge in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richárd Textex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Illan Marcos hit a great ball. The ORIZABA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when ORIZABA F.C.'s Robustiano Clementi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Illan Marcos hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Gimlinge came free, but Richárd Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Rosa in the 25th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Steffen Gimlinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cauan Rosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnoud de Pelsmakere. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 47th minute Gerardo Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Clementi was the one to do the kick off. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Gerardo Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Beattie in the 59th minute of the match. Richárd Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ORIZABA F.C.'s Richárd Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 72nd minute of play. Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Rosa in the 74th minute of play. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 78th minute of play. Steffen Gimlinge struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Richárd Textex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Universidad Nacional. Club Universidad Nacional made a substitution. Feliciano Frans replaced Steffen Gimlinge. Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 86th minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIZABA F.C.'s Julian Kosakowski. But to his dismay, Julian Kosakowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Leoncio Huerta charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leoncio Huerta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Leoncio Huerta got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Nesto in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Manuel Castelain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
