Club Universidad Nacional's attentive Ziyäddin Cabbarov managed to snatch the ball when Jeffrey Rainey made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Andy Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziyäddin Cabbarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoud de Pelsmakere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute of the match San Pablo FC got a corner. Club Universidad Nacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Sergi ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Ignazio in the 95th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Andy Hauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Universidad Nacional's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
