The crowd rose to their feet as Mestre GG's Valter Levander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rubinho Lago. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Rubinho Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. CJ Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Lewandowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Lago was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Jorginho Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorginho Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
