Spectators: 48 (Terracing: 37, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thiago Hudson started the match with the kick off. Rômulo Neiva made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Tony Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miromir Dzerwucki in the 12 minute of the game. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Thiago Hudson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Tony Pacheco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rômulo Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Mukifus FSCMZ's zone, Tony Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal and Tony Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Mukifus FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Pincharoen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Mukifus FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Wambasther Robben went to the cornerflag to take it. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Tio Lio. But to his dismay, Tio Lio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Glen Conklin went to the cornerflag to take it. New England Minas's Glen Conklin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rômulo Neiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Pacheco to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Hudson. The supporters of Mukifus FSCMZ booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Gang Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. New England Minas's Glen Conklin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Miromir Dzerwucki, made in the 58th minute of the game. New England Minas's Hipolito Emenon was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. Tony Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute Thiago Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tony Pacheco hit a great ball. Mukifus FSCMZ made a substitution. Víctor Canosa replaced Thiago Hudson. Tony Pacheco hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Víctor Canosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Nicholas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 83 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Ye Gang Cheng. Víctor Canosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víctor Canosa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng got a free kick in the 86th minute. Conny Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Víctor Canosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mukifus FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víctor Canosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Víctor Canosa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. Ye Gang Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Roman Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Conny Tingberg. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wambasther Robben in the 99th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the New England Minas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
