SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's attentive Valeryan Bochkin managed to snatch the ball when Sandro Branco made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Valeryan Bochkin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandro Branco, made in the 17th minute of the game. If Fritz Ernst Joinvilense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ján Novák could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but José Pedro Bertassi made a huge save. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Ján Novák got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Novák in the 27th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper José Pedro Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ján Novák in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute Fritz Ernst Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Sandro Branco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ferdinand Luca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Ernst Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Botafogo AP booed when SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeryan Bochkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goalkeeper José Pedro Bertassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ján Novák. Ján Novák struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. José Pedro Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV. Froilan Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Froilan Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fritz Ernst Joinvilense made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Froilan Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás González in the 61st minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper José Pedro Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ján Novák in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Pedro Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Donostia in the 67th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper José Pedro Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Luca made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fritz Ernst Joinvilense sent off a good shot on target. After 76 minutes of play, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Felipe Olivar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Nicolás González quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Laerte de Mendonça, made in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Fritz Ernst Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Botafogo AP defense, Natalio Inocente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Bertassi. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Bertassi should have stopped the shot. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
