Erik Puja was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 15 minutes into the game, Wes Carragher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aldo Imperatore. Wes Carragher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th match minute, Casalotto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Piano to maneuver through the defense. When Edvin Tinglöv fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gloucester City AFC's protests and gave Edvin Tinglöv a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gloucester City AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edvin Tinglöv hit a great ball. Teddy Martin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Danny Jumel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Piano in the 23rd minute of the match. Kristopher Le Saux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Aldo Imperatore made a huge save. Louis Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Jumel having to interfere. Sven-Åke Petersson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gloucester City AFC's Danny Jumel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Palma in the 36th minute of play. Aldo Imperatore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Åke Petersson in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Louis Palma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Jumel was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The Casalotto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Imperatore should have stopped the shot. Jarred Castaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gloucester City AFC's Danny Jumel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gloucester City AFC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Casalotto FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Amador Beltxe hit a great ball. When Jarred Castaneda came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gloucester City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarred Castaneda couldn't finish the play. Casalotto FC's Aldo Imperatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Le Saux in the 92nd minute of play. Danny Jumel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Palma's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
