When Tytus Ratulowski came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the BYDGOSTIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tytus Ratulowski couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Buksvinens IF got a freekick which was hit by Charles Godholm. In the 14th minute, Bernard Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Korneliusz Grucza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BYDGOSTIA's Tytus Ratulowski got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Rudolf Söderberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Grucza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Buksvinens IF's Rudolf Söderberg. Rudolf Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 37 minutes, Benedykt Czerniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BYDGOSTIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Czerniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudolf Söderberg was a little too slow when Korneliusz Grucza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Buksvinens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Högman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Korneliusz Grucza rounded Buksvinens IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Korneliusz Grucza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Korneliusz Grucza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Mindykowski. Antonia Haraldsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Grzegorz Bierfass replaced Korneliusz Grucza. 67 minutes into the game, Benedykt Czerniak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BYDGOSTIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buksvinens IF the free kick. The supporters of Buksvinens IF booed when BYDGOSTIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Czerniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Godholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Piotr Gongolewicz made a huge save. Grzegorz Bierfass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rudolf Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Godholm got free with Piotr Gongolewicz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Buksvinens IF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sonny Friberger hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Buksvinens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Högman to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Grzegorz Bierfass ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Grzegorz Bierfass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rudolf Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Bierfass in the 91st minute of the match. Rudolf Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Bierfass in the 93rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Sonny Friberger took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Piotr Gongolewicz to make any attempt to save it.
