After having played for 40 minutes, Corneel Taverniers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winksele 2016's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneel Taverniers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Montesclarense E.C.'s Pedro Luís Arósio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sem Severens. That made the score 7-0 after 44 minutes of play. Jarbas Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sem Severens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Sem Severens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Arósio in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Winksele 2016 defense, Eusébio Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sem Severens. The Winksele 2016 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sem Severens should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 79 in the game by Claude Van Dijck from a close distance when the talented Luiz Eger managed to make a qualified save. Montesclarense E.C.'s players were relieved. Jan-Simon Van Hemel came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Eger could save by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Gilbert Mathijs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Eger, 11-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Simon Van Hemel during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Winksele 2016 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Simon Van Hemel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Jarbas Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
