In the 14th minute, Montesclarense E.C.'s Dorian Lopez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dorian Lopez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Montesclarense E.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dorian Lopez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Montesclarense E.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BYDGOSTIA:s goal. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, BYDGOSTIA's Tomasz Maurycy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luiz Eger. Korneliusz Grucza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Eriberto Veiga got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Radomil Mindykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eger came out of the goal and Radomil Mindykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Eusébio Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BYDGOSTIA's Tytus Ratulowski got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Radomil Mindykowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luiz Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montesclarense E.C.'s Kauan Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's Tytus Ratulowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, BYDGOSTIA's Korneliusz Grucza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Luiz Eger made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Tytus Ratulowski sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Radomil Mindykowski made the kick off in the second half. Elder Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Benedykt Czerniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes, Bernard Dec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BYDGOSTIA and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BYDGOSTIA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bernard Dec hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, BYDGOSTIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Dec to maneuver through the defense. Piotr Gongolewicz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Eusébio Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. Jarbas Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Bierfass, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 88th minute, Grzegorz Bierfass got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomil Mindykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Dec hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BYDGOSTIA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montesclarense E.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
