In the 14th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Biriș to maneuver through the defense. Veth Crystals's Benedykt Pionek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emanuel Stanca but with some difficulty. After 24 minutes of play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Movileanu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnaba Kaczynski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Veth Crystals's Benedykt Pionek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Drugi came free, but Emanuel Stanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veth Crystals were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedykt Pionek took the corner. The corner led Veth Crystals's Benedykt Pionek to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Stanca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manuel Șora kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Vorniceanu during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Vorniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Achimescu couldn't finish the play. Barnaba Kaczynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
