But to his dismay, Jussef Ben Hamdani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jericho AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Abdelghani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Bracken Mulvihill made a precise shot to the right of Chadli Abdelghani. Jericho AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gearalt McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussef Ben Hamdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes Jericho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Daham. In the 22nd minute of the match Kevis Mullan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chadli Abdelghani skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Berk McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bracken Mulvihill in the 33rd minute of play forced Jericho AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Abdelghani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chadli Abdelghani made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Bracken Mulvihill sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jussef Ben Hamdani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Kilkea Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nasreddine Apap who took care of the corner kick. Kilkea Utd's Gearalt McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kilkea Utd from getting a goal against them. Bracken Mulvihill struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Chadli Abdelghani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilkea Utd. In the 65th match minute, Kilkea Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard McJohn to maneuver through the defense. During the 71st minute of the match Ahmed Daham completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmed Daham a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Jericho AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ahmed Daham hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Nasreddine Apap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Binnech Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smail Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gearalt McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kilkea Utd getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernard McJohn hit a great ball. In the 89th minute of the match Nasreddine Apap sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gearalt McAlphie skillfully saved the ball. The Kilkea Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jericho AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
