Hortêncio Dracena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marouane Estrade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Decool in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Dracena saved Laranja Mecânica from getting behind. After 25 minutes, Mario Drieux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lezs and the Laranja Mecânica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lezs getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mario Drieux hit a great ball. Mario Drieux lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Laranja Mecânica a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adelino de Lara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lezs's Manuel Ginet. 1-1. Hortêncio Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melvin Diaz in the 31st minute. Melvin Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ricardo Barreto's late challenge caught a Lezs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica's Hortêncio Dracena got control of the ball when Aymerick Burnier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marouane Estrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gauthier Pialat during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica's protests and gave Anderson Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Anderson Toledo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
