Bernardo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Enzo Emenon took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Barrionuevo. Raimundo Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, phoinix fc's goalkeeper Raimundo Barrionuevo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Emenon. Enzo Emenon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Janpier in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Barrionuevo saved phoinix fc from getting behind. After 17 minutes, Freddy Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the phoinix fc and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of phoinix fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Mandiyu:s goal. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Mandiyu. Arnoldo Janpier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raimundo Barrionuevo. 2-0. After 24 minutes phoinix fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Gonsalve who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bernardo Gonsalve got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raimundo Barrionuevo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the phoinix fc defense, Enzo Emenon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Barrionuevo. The phoinix fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Barrionuevo should have stopped the shot. After 39 minutes, German Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the phoinix fc and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, phoinix fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

phoinix fc's Celso Guillelme was substituted for Ernesto Herrera. phoinix fc made a substitution. Rolando Quinito replaced Ulises Orlanda. The wind increased when Urbano Cambranes made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Enzo Emenon notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of phoinix fc's Raimundo Barrionuevo. Raimundo Barrionuevo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Enzo Emenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Emenon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Enzo Emenon took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Barrionuevo. Raimundo Barrionuevo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 71 minutes into the match, phoinix fc's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Emenon came free, but Raimundo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes phoinix fc got a freekick which was hit by Celso Guillelme. Deportivo Mandiyu's Delmar Quintin was substituted for Hipolito Bizen. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Aquiles Bernard replaced Enzo Emenon. Celso Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Aquiles Bernard might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Bernard ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Janpier in the 86th minute of play forced phoinix fc's goalkeeper Raimundo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Deportivo Mandiyu's Aquiles Bernard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Arturo Veronica replaced Arnoldo Janpier. When Aquiles Bernard came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Bernard couldn't finish the play.
