Through an outstanding action, after 2 minutes, Şemsettin Tuyuğ successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 6 minutes into the match, Ömer Demirci notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza. Armando Gazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Alex Acatincăi sent off a good shot on target. Şemsettin Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yenal Tanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Acatincăi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a huge save. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Breogan in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Bienienda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's Eric Hârțan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şemsettin Tuyuğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Ömer Demirci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yenal Tanır in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şemsettin Tuyuğ saved KOCAELİSPOR from getting behind. Şemsettin Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half KOCAELİSPOR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ömer Demirci to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Demirci in the 55th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Acatincăi in the 56th minute of play. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Acatincăi in the 62nd minute of play. KOCAELİSPOR's Rafet Hazin was substituted for Ediz Tekdoğan. Juventus PTM made a substitution. Ferdinand Honcioiu replaced Victorio Breogan. Juventus PTM's Patrick Viera was substituted for Laureano Belarmo. After a rather tough play, KOCAELİSPOR's Önder Ünlü got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aşır Zabit got free with Armando Gazza in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şemsettin Tuyuğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aşır Zabit came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the KOCAELİSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aşır Zabit couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Şemsettin Tuyuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aşır Zabit in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Gazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Honcioiu came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aşır Zabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Messias in the 97th minute of play. The Juventus PTM manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing KOCAELİSPOR to win.
