The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when János Kovács came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Csabagyöngye's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rich Durbridge in the 8th minute. The corner led Csabagyöngye's Rich Durbridge to fire away a dangerous shot which Janich Sodborg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Felix Fanøe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Péter Mészáros, 1-0. Strib Galacticos IF's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Dömötör in the 13th minute of play. Péter Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mads Aarum in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Felix Fanøe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Mészáros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Dömötör came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If János Kovács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Fanøe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Mészáros having to make a save. Felix Fanøe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Péter Mészáros made a huge save. Felix Fanøes short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Péter Mészáros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janich Sodborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Kovács in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Mads Aarum. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mads Aarum made a kick off. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Fanøe in the 56th minute of play. Gabriel Fabelos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Janich Sodborg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Aarum, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Strib Galacticos IF's Felix Fanøe in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Csabagyöngye's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Pedro Nyaa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros did a great save.
