Aureliano Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Wlodzimierz Cipinski threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliano Karlo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th minute, Aureliano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wlodzimierz Cipinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wlodzimierz Cipinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Josefsson in the 17th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAIS's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Cipinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Bållström during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, GAIS's Simon Bållström got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski got control of the ball when Aureliano Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wlodzimierz Cipinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Karlo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after GAIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. In the 38th minute, Wojciech Fiszer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GAIS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Aureliano Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Wlodzimierz Cipinski, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Björck to make the kick off. GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 51st minute of play. Aureliano Karlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ defense, Xamo Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Eztebe. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Eztebe should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when GAIS's Xamo Navarro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Aureliano Karlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wlodzimierz Cipinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wlodzimierz Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Karlo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wlodzimierz Cipinski. Wlodzimierz Cipinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wlodzimierz Cipinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Mario Sesuldo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. Mario Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the GAIS defense, Julien Staffelbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. The GAIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Cipinski should have stopped the shot. Wlodzimierz Cipinski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach. But to his dismay, Julien Staffelbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 82ndth minute of the game Julien Staffelbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAIS's Wlodzimierz Cipinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Julien Staffelbach made a precise shot to the right of Wlodzimierz Cipinski. GAIS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 87th minute, Julien Staffelbach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 93 minutes into the game, Simon Bållström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Wojciech Fiszer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Julien Staffelbach in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAIS's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ had won after a very even match.
