The audience thought a goal was coming when Policarpio Lama got free with Ruben Nalo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Policarpio Lama in the 13th minute of play forced BARABA's goalkeeper Ruben Nalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Tormaigh Cassin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARABA's Ruben Nalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Nalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tony McCraken hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, BARABA's goalkeeper Ruben Nalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tormaigh Cassin. After taking down the ball on Rayo Bengala's corner Berto Monta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruben Nalo quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tormaigh Cassin made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Rayo Bengala's Policarpio Lama made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Nalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nerio Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rayo Bengala's Policarpio Lama managed to work through BARABA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Policarpio Lama dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 68th minute Oliver McOmish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nerio Etxeberria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BARABA's Ruben Nalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Policarpio Lama in the 80th minute of play. Rayo Bengala's Macabeo Sampil was substituted for Tormaigh Cassin. A collision led to Rayo Bengala getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nerio Etxeberria hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Jeremy Ferries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, BARABA's goal looked a bit too open when Macabeo Sampil came free, but Ruben Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayo Bengala walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
