Caio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Hernan Nisio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pau Nas Canelas's zone, Isaias Piearres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Abreu came out of the goal and Isaias Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Pau Nas Canelas defense, Isaias Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio Abreu. The Pau Nas Canelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio Abreu should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Hernan Nisio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Caio Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caio Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Nisio in the 34th minute of the match. Fernando Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Vides to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Hernan Nisio notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Pau Nas Canelas's Caio Abreu. Caio Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eloy Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Abreu having to interfere.

Hernan Nisio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Hernan Nisio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Caio Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Nisio went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Karmel in the 68th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Caio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Hernan Nisio took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Caio Abreu to make any attempt to save it. Tadeo Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Ribas in the 72nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Veríssimo Bento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Mancio. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veríssimo Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-9. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Manuel Souto got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Deportivo Diamante U18's Elvio Karmel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caio Abreu. Caio Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Nisio got free with Caio Abreu in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pau Nas Canelas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Diamante U18 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
