Melker Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Ereinotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Ken Kot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Billvall. Ken Kot was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Pål Hjälm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pål Hjälm really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Skarpa Ełk's Ken Kot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Skarpa Ełk from getting a goal against them. Melker Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Ereinotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Billvall got free with Ken Kot in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Jakub Dembowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Dembowski in the 25th minute of play forced Diniimanibelediyespor's goalkeeper Melker Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diniimanibelediyespor's Melker Ödman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Škarpa in the 32nd minute of play. Melker Ödman came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Skarpa Ełk's Jonathan Ereinotz. But to his dismay, Jonathan Ereinotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute, Emil Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jakub Dembowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Diniimanibelediyespor's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Ereinotz came free, but Melker Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Persson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ken Kot made a huge save. Helge Mårtensson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gösta Billvall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ereinotz scored 1-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Ödman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jens-Ove Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Skarpa Ełk's Jakub Dembowski in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Diniimanibelediyespor's protests and gave Pål Hjälm a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Diniimanibelediyespor getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Pål Hjälm hit a great ball. Skarpa Ełk made a substitution. Rodion Cămătaru replaced Jonathan Ereinotz. After 68 played minutes Diniimanibelediyespor got a freekick which was hit by Pål Hjälm. Diniimanibelediyespor's Melker Ödman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Diniimanibelediyespor from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Diniimanibelediyespor's goalkeeper Melker Ödman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Dembowski. After taking down the ball on Skarpa Ełk's corner Kazimierz Munko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Melker Ödman quite easily take care of the ball.
