Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Udalaitz having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Tadeo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Machine Gun Kelly were awarded a corner. Epifanio Lartaun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Epifanio Lartaun got away a dangerous shot. Fulgencio Eyague was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Lizer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lázaro Ugaitz, made in the 30th minute of the game. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Boniel in the 42nd minute of the match. The corner ended in Epifanio Lartaun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague did a great save. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 46th minute of play.

Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun was substituted for Aristides Boniel. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peep Pronk to strike the kick off in the second half. AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
