Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Glenn Raeijmaeckers started the match with the kick off. When Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blåvitt's goalie prevented a goal. Roy Holman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 5th minute. Blåvitt's Mike Cassar Torreggiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Nixon in the 10th minute of play. Örjan Johansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roy Holman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, Gösta Lundberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roy Holman. The goal made the score 1-0. Angelo Dumas struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mountain West FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Nixon in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Cassar Torreggiani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Nixon in the 28th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy Nixon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Eriksson's late challenge caught a Mountain West FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Eriksson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Blåvitt getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Stefan Eriksson hit a great ball. The supporters of Mountain West FC booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mike Cassar Torreggiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Nixon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Mike Cassar Torreggiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Mountain West FC defense, Michel Lundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Holman. The Mountain West FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Holman should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sammy Nixon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glenn Raeijmaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lundberg in the 57th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sammy Nixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Chris Reyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mountain West FC made a substitution. Darrell Humphrey replaced Chris Reyna. Mountain West FC made a substitution. Leif Donaldson replaced Angelo Dumas. With 88 minutes on the clock, Stefan Eriksson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blåvitt! The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Donaldson got free with Mike Cassar Torreggiani in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Blåvitt players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
