Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wladimir Jungwirth started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Andi Misenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Rabelani Thebile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match, Alexander Bresack got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Neuer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Bresack got free with Manuel Neuer in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Puch in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lanús's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jake Hursey in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Lanús's corner Rabelani Thebile fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nestor Romero quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Puch in the 14th minute of play forced Werderaner 04 Volkssport's goalkeeper Nestor Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Bresack in the 15th minute. If Roberto Puch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Roberto Puch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lanús's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladimir Jungwirth in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute Wladimir Jungwirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Alexander Bresack dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Neuer, 1-0. Andi Misenta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Werderaner 04 Volkssport's Manuel Neuer threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eckart Obels, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nestor Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabelani Thebile in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Werderaner 04 Volkssport's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jake Hursey was slow to take the kick. During this time Lanús's players had a chance to rest. Amancio Ixona was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of Lanús:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manuel Neuer had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Benno Schellhase's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Barros made a kick off. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckart Obels, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60thth minute Lanús's Rabelani Thebile made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of Werderaner 04 Volkssport's goalie, Nestor Romero, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Nestor Romero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Barros got free with Nestor Romero in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eckart Obels struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Manuel Neuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werderaner 04 Volkssport. Manuel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Bresack, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute, Alexander Bresack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladimir Jungwirth in the 92nd minute of play. Manuel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bresack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Eckart Obels notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lanús's Manuel Neuer. Manuel Neuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Werderaner 04 Volkssport's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
