In the 33rd match minute, FC JaRo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Priit Raag to maneuver through the defense. If Roman Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Zdanowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when FC JaRo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Przebendowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aban McBjarton got free with Stefan Zdanowicz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Przebendowski in the 90th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
