Toronto Marlies FC's Kelly Pearson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kléberson Guedes in the 15 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Caio Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anfilogino Amicone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caio Silveira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Gavino Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Silveira to make the kick off. Dudu Fernandes made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Tyson Renaud. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrick Abrams in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the game Erling Mattsson made a throw-in which Matías Azevedo played forward. Ademar Rodrigues hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
