Almir Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Almir Miranda was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Reyes Ritter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reyes Ritter really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuseppe Jewell got free with Almir Miranda in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naldo Saldanha's late challenge caught a Santos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. Naldo Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Kris Marks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almir Miranda skillfully saved the ball. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Ritter in the 22nd minute of play. Walmir Quintal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Kris Marks got a free kick in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goalkeeper Almir Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giuseppe Jewell. Giuseppe Jewells short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Almir Miranda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kris Marks succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 35th playminute. Kris Marks struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Almir Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Almir Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Jewell in the 41st minute. Almir Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jimmy Coulter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. Almir Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Ritter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuseppe Jewell was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Reyes Ritter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Almir Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Reyes Ritter put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Almir Miranda. Almir Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Marks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mitnarotov FC's Almir Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes Ritter in the 68th minute of play. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 70th minute of play. If Jimmy Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reyes Ritter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Miranda having to interfere. Byron Kane scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir Miranda came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Giuseppe Jewell. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Jewell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Almir Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Giuseppe Jewell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mitnarotov FC defense, Jimmy Coulter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almir Miranda. The Mitnarotov FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almir Miranda should have stopped the shot. Reyes Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Almir Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
