Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Vides in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izydor Birkenhagen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gaspar Diegues came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pau Nas Canelas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Diegues couldn't finish the play. Daniel Gongola charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Gongola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Yara Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Carvalho came free, but Izydor Birkenhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Henriques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izydor Birkenhagen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pau Nas Canelas's Enzo Borges got a free kick in the 86th minute. Laércio Vides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Diegues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Izydor Birkenhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pau Nas Canelas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
