The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Onaca. Ivan Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Morro Grande E.C defense, Costin Onaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gláuber Brodel. The Morro Grande E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gláuber Brodel should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha got a free kick in the 15th minute. Habib Ali Picavea took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Casomiro. Ivan Casomiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Costin Onaca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gláuber Brodel made a huge save. Slakun FC's Ivan Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ibar in the 33rd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Teobaldo Ibar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Costin Onaca scored 4-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gláuber Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Banegas went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Gláuber Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gláuber Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Ibar went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th match minute, Slakun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Onaca to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Onaca in the 66th minute of play. Gaudencio Guib hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ibar in the 71st minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morro Grande E.C made a substitution. Toninho Soeiro replaced Kaká Sampaio. Celso Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Slakun FC's Marcelo Incendio got a free kick in the 91st minute. The throw-in from Elói Penha in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slakun FC's Norberto Matei. In the 95th match minute, Slakun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Incendio to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Slakun FC fully deserved thier win.
