Nestor Rito was slow to take the kick. During this time Leones FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nestor Rito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Copérnico F.C.'s Amadeo Rainerio did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Quintan in the 8th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Fraco in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Nicolas Bizi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeo Rainerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 19 in the game by Martin Asier from a close distance when the talented Amadeo Rainerio managed to make a qualified save. Copérnico F.C.'s players were relieved. Amadeo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Asier in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Manuel Jatsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Jatsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 46 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Jatsu came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Jatsu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Copérnico F.C.'s Alberto Galo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Amadeo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Leopoldo Lastur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tello in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Quintan got free with Leopoldo Lastur in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Amadeo Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicolas Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nicolas Bizi fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Nicolas Bizi a yellow card for diving instead. 83 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copérnico F.C. the free kick. If Manuel Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Serafin Hori kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Manuel Jatsu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur. Leopoldo Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Copérnico F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leones FC.
