The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ismael Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Montez's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Jorge Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kakeros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Aserradero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Montez came free, but Ismael Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Aserradero FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Peyo. After 32 played minutes Aserradero FC got a freekick which was hit by Casemiro Joinvilense. Faustino Rencio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Melquiades Estebe sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the game, Melquiades Estebe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustino Rencio. Melquiades Estebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hugo Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Montez got free with Ismael Poncio in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Montez in the 58th minute of play forced Aserradero FC's goalkeeper Ismael Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Aserradero FC's Aldo Eriz got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Jorge Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jorge Montez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Ismael Poncio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kakeros FC's Cipriano Regis was substituted for Jorge Montez. Aserradero FC made a substitution. Basilio Osmundo replaced Arsenio Artal. Marcelo Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Arnoldo Prejun hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Melquiades Estebe scored 2-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Rencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Cipriano Regis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Poncio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Casemiro Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Aserradero FC's Ismael Poncio got control of the ball when Cipriano Regis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Regis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Poncio. That made the score 2-1 in the 96 minute of play. Aserradero FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
