After taking down the ball on Kakeros FC's corner Damian Bittor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leopoldo Lastur quite easily take care of the ball. When Gerardo Matai came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Kakeros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Matai couldn't finish the play. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Lastur as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Matai in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Montez came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kakeros FC's Jorge Montez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Jorge Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal and Jorge Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Hori to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Matai. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leones FC! Leopoldo Lastur had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Damian Bittor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 57th minute, Jorge Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Kakeros FC's Dario Frederico got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of Kakeros FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Jorge Montez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 72 minutes into the game, Jorge Montez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Leopoldo Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Cipriano Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Lastur came out of the goal and Cipriano Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Ler kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Cipriano Regis made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kakeros FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
