Lucas Beltrán was slow to take the kick. During this time COSQUIN SFC's players had a chance to rest. C.J. 郝鹏风 made a great header on COSQUIN SFC's corner, it was just that Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero managed to reach the ball for a save. Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 37th minute of play. When Valdo das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roceira SC's protests and gave Valdo das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of COSQUIN SFC booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcell Barovero came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by COSQUIN SFC's Gary Lineker. But to his dismay, Gary Lineker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

COSQUIN SFC's Everardo Abella was substituted for Gary Lineker. Ciriaco Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Maraschin in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Abella. Marcell Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beltrán in the 64th minute of the match. COSQUIN SFC's Ciriaco Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Speed in the 73rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Abella. Ciriaco Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Ksawery Winnicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Aílton Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aílton Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aílton Damião hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Roceira SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Everardo Abella scored to the left of an out of position Marcell Barovero, making the score, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
