Regresado's Fabrizio Fracassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhou in the 15th minute of play. Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria Team08 from getting a goal against them. Regresado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liu Yu Zhou in the 18th minute. The corner led to Regresado's Apolo Fliz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria Team08's zone, Apolo Fliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panait Frânculescu came out of the goal and Apolo Fliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Genaro Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Basinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Regresado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandria Team08 the free kick. After 30 played minutes Regresado got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Basinski. Fabrizio Fracassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandria Team08's Zhou got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandria Team08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Fracassi having to make a save. Regresado's Fabrizio Fracassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Regresado from getting a goal against them. Alexandria Team08's Corneliu Văcăroiu was substituted for Radu Barna. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Oliver Josef Topp hit a great ball.
