In the 46th minute of the match Gaudencio Berto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Arne Hansson skillfully saved the ball. Jesus Castulo scored 3-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Arne Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Almaröds FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
