Placido Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ilulea FC's zone, Gilberto Jakobe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Gilberto Jakobe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Jakobe came free, but Placido Jaunzuria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencal Özpinar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Chorache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Placido Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Jakobe in the 45th minute of the match. Tabossi's Gencal Özpinar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guille Cantero in the 46th minute of play. Guille Cantero's late challenge caught a Tabossi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guille Cantero helped the player get up and apologised. Ilulea FC's Andy Turner was substituted for Aristides Barbosa. Jaime Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match.
