Ciro Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolandas Gudaitis in the 23rd minute of the match. Rolandas Gudaitis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Angelo Estefan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Gombal. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Gombal should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolandas Gudaitis in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Poz. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolandas Gudaitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sixto Belasko hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded AKDmicos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Balvanera.
