Angelino Abecia started the match with the kick off. If Sergio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Angelino Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AKDmicos FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when AKDmicos FC's Angelino Abecia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nemesio Jaen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Galoer in the 11th minute. When Angelino Abecia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AKDmicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Abecia couldn't finish the play. Angelino Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Taffarel having to interfere. Nemesio Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Kiko Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the AKDmicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Paulista couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Sergio Leocadio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club【LBF】's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Mustaine was slow to take the kick. During this time AKDmicos FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AKDmicos FC's Dave Mustaine to fire away a dangerous shot which Cláudio Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Angelino Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Angelino Abecia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Taffarel was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cláudio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarías March, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alejo Galoer took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Jaen. Nemesio Jaen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Marchidan in the 80th minute of play forced AKDmicos FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Zacarías March reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cláudio Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-3. AKDmicos FC's Nemesio Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Jatsu in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, AKDmicos FC's Zacarías March sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, AKDmicos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Harriet to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cláudio Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Racing Club【LBF】 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AKDmicos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for AKDmicos FC.
