When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. In the 25th minute İlhami Akyazıcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Astiategui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Juan-Alfredo Astiategui managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Juan-Alfredo Astiategui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli from getting a goal against them. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Juan-Alfredo Astiategui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Zhao Sen Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. The goal made the score 0-9. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. Zhao Sen Yang scored 0-10 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan-Alfredo Astiategui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zhao Sen Yang in the 83rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Juan-Alfredo Astiategui kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-11 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a defensive mix-up in Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's zone, Zhao Sen Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui came out of the goal and Zhao Sen Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. When the match was over Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli throughout the match.
