Deng Yin Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bart Basson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deng Yin Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute, Deng Yin Sang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombo A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Deng Yin Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bart Basson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Yin Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nejat Özertem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Cordarrol in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Carretero got free with Ali Nejat Özertem in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bart Basson came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombo A.C.'s Deng Yin Sang. But to his dismay, Deng Yin Sang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bart Basson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Yin Sang in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Colombo A.C. were awarded a corner. Lauro Neiva went to the cornerflag to take it. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Colombo A.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deng Yin Sang in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Basson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Yin Sang in the 35th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Deng Yin Sang took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bart Basson. Bart Basson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deng Yin Sang in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Basson saved Vamo A Calmarno from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deng Yin Sang to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Nejat Özertem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Carretero, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ali Nejat Özertem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Rainerio in the 54th minute of play. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Rainerio in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Deng Yin Sang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombo A.C.'s Edu Correia was substituted for Alan de Queiroz. Deng Yin Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bart Basson made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Deng Yin Sang sent off a good shot on target. Ali Nejat Özertem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Rainerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Colombo A.C. were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Vamo A Calmarno's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lauro Neiva took the corner. When Colombo A.C.'s Lauro Neiva in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Chayo in the 87th minute of play. Vamo A Calmarno's Bart Basson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Vamo A Calmarno from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Lauro Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Carretero came free, but Ali Nejat Özertem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
