In the 3rd minute, Alessandro Mannucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciccio Bozzelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Cellucci came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Paunero's Silverio Semeno. But to his dismay, Silverio Semeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fortunato Iovine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Santiago Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Benigno Iago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S.C. NAPOLI's Emilio Cellucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Paunero's Benigno Iago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Cellucci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Felice Aceto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Santiago Urtats made a huge save. Felice Aceto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Santiago Urtats when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fortunato Iovine struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Santiago Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.S.C. NAPOLI. 37 minutes in the game, Ciccio Bozzelli fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Santiago Urtats having to interfere. Paunero's Santiago Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Iovine in the 39th minute of play. If Ciccio Bozzelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The S.S.C. NAPOLI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paunero were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Semeno to make the kick off. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Emiliano Pari was substituted for Ciccio Bozzelli. In the 53rd match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Peli to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Urtats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felice Aceto went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Santiago Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Iovine in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Fortunato Iovine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Emilio Cellucci got control of the ball when Nicolas Tancredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Pari to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paunero's goalkeeper Santiago Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iker Garin charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Garin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Aceto in the 73rd minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Santiago Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Felice Aceto in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Pari in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Urtats saved Paunero from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Pari came free, but Santiago Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Emilio Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felice Aceto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
