Isaac Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nikos Kosmidis made a huge save. Teobaldo Otsoa charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Otsoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Teobaldo Otsoa hit a great ball. Nikos Kosmidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Advíncula in the 16th minute of the match. Stavros Stavratos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Gittas in the 24th minute of play. Pepe Santoro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Antonis Ikonomeas. But to his dismay, Antonis Ikonomeas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Loukianos Zacharopoulos hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Boni Yarman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikos Kosmidis. Nikos Kosmidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 39 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Luis Advíncula made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Kosmidis was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Nikos Kosmidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Trossero in the 51st minute of the match. Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zisis Batsinilas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Boni Yarman made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Kosmidis. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Oscar Solustiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kosmidis having to interfere. If Higinio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aimilios Lagos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Boni Yarman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Kosmidis. AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boni Yarman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogenis Gittas in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Advíncula came free, but Nikos Kosmidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Tachtsidis scored 5-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Santoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Sá. After having played for 86 minutes, Loukianos Zacharopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loukianos Zacharopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Higinio Barros notched a goal, 6-4, to the right of AC Milan's Nikos Kosmidis. Nikos Kosmidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timos Giotopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogenis Gittas in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB were the better team. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
