Viktor Häll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Französisch Buchholz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Mach didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Ergener came free, but Heimko Geisen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Hänssler in the 38th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Französisch Buchholz FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Weinand. After the first half Französisch Buchholz FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Heimko Geisen came out of the goal and Marcu Pantelimon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
