ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Elpidio Francis made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Niklas Bergdal got a free kick in the 50th minute. When Timoteo Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Timoteo Basualdo a yellow card for diving instead. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ITAFUT 4EVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
