Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Otterlei in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kleopas Plouffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Hans Otterlei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kleopas Plouffe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kleopas Plouffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Boniel's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Kleopas Plouffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Otterlei, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The corner led La Cosa Nostra's Arnaldo Perpinya to fire away a dangerous shot which Kleopas Plouffe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 28 in the game by Alberto Aznar from a close distance when the talented Joel Delfino managed to make a qualified save. La Cosa Nostra's players were relieved. Kleopas Plouffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Otterlei in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Loi. Hans Otterlei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kleopas Plouffe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half La Cosa Nostra were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hans Otterlei made the kick off in the second half. Kleopas Plouffe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Otterlei in the 52nd minute. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Romildo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Cesar Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Steve Hodge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleopas Plouffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kleopas Plouffe made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Hans Otterlei sent off a good shot on target. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tytus Lepper ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Cosa Nostra's Tytus Lepper was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kleopas Plouffe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th minute, Marciano Bizen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleopas Plouffe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. David Best hit a great ball. La Cosa Nostra's Tytus Lepper couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Cosa Nostra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
