Rolando Amorebieta started the match with the kick off. Beto Almada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Cuadrado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute Ernesto Guevara SyD were awarded a corner. Marcos Tirso went to the cornerflag to take it. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 6th minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Salvador Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arkadiusz Banaszak got free with Salvador Gorosti in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Bernat in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Ernesto Guevara SyD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Gorosti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jacek Krzynowek. When Boca Juniors's Jacek Krzynowek in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Almada in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Ernesto Guevara SyD were awarded a corner. Marcos Tirso went to the cornerflag to take it. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Salvador Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Varela in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Ermegildo Edorta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Gorosti. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Salvador Gorosti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Serafin Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Cuadrado having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Beto Almada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Cuadrado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Almada to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Edorta scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Gorosti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Cuadrado having to interfere. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Salvador Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Bartolo Errolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Hitzeder Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Richie in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Cuadrado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitzeder Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rainerio Obis took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Gorosti. Salvador Gorosti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Boca Juniors's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
